Is a model 54 blade a direct hook up to a JD 300?

Ray, depends on what it was used on. That has adapters that will allow it to attach to various models depending what frame and attachment kit it has. But if it was on JD 140 or any 3xx series it will be a direct attschment.

#54 was used on a bunch of Deeres, I'm sure if you post a picture of the mount you have a bunch of people here can tell you which mount that is.
