Hi, I have a problem of quantity of oil on my mf 14 because following a joint output of wheel replacement, I don't know how much transmission oil and the dipstick is broken. What is the quantity of oil as well as the dimension of the dipstick as well as photos of it.
Thanks for the help because my mf14 stopped:crybaby:

The Sundstrand hydrostatic transmission in my MF1655 takes 5 litres. The full mark is 286 mm. down from the top of the dipstick tube. Use a piece of wire as a dipstick if necessary. It will be close enough.

I believe that your tractor and mine use the same transmission and, probably, the same dipstick.

:sorry1:, no camera so no pictures.

Good Luck.

I've got a MF14/16 hydro/transaxle down in my barn, pretty sure the dipstick and tube are in it. No lights down there so I'll look at it tomorrow and get some measurements if it'll help. I've got an 1855 & a 1650 & a 1450 MF and I think they're all the same dipstick and tube but I can't remember if the tube and dipstick in that MF14/16 assy. is the same.
