I know the trick now. I fill up the carb bowl with gas through the overflow. Never had to do it before. I noticed it needed lots of cranking last year and got worst. This it took so much cranking early this year I was worried the starter would burn out. I checked and cleaned fuel filter last spring; it didn’t help. Once it’s running it runs great. If not running for an hour, I have to fill bowl again. Where is the gas going? Does this sound like the gas pump is gone?
