Mayor building Kohler 12.5 OHV for JD STX
Hi guys! It's been sometime since I stopped in but I need some information. Since January I have this Kohler sitting on the work bench to be freshened up. Can honestly say it has not been a high priority but at this point I'm getting tired of looking at it. That said I cracked into it for a look and see exactly what I might need to get it back up to speed. Since diving in I have a few quick questions.
1. Do they make a complete rebuild kit (piston, rings, gaskets, etc)?
2. Since I'm in the heart of the beast anything I should also look to replace ( something Kohlers are know to have issues with)?
