I just picked up this beauty yesterday. and already i have questions. like my fist one is why isthis particular tractor not in the sticky listing the years of these here tractor. the model# is MF16, and serial# is 1944203734. and secondly how hard are parts to come by for these particular tractors. i will greatly appreciate any help in these matters.:thanku:

1976=202651-203901
They only made the 16 for two years, so parts are not that easy to come by, but they are out there.

well honestly the motor i have no problem fixing considering its a 16 kohler. its some body stuff iwas lookng for like a grill and maybthe original muffler for thishere tractor. thanks on the year. i plan on mkng this my workhorse sice this tractor has been in my family for years.

You will need to find a grill from a 14 or 16. The muffler I'm not sure about?

I'm pretty sure other than the bore of the engine it is the same as MF14. They made just under 9000 MF14s and just under 4000 MF16s, so I'd say you might have luck finding parts. I'd look for a good parts tractor or a nice MF14 you good swap frame and engine, MF16s are really RARE.

appreciate the help. so the 14 grill will fit that's a plus. are these 16's a pretty decent tractor? i know she's got power. cause we used her as a workhorse for years. i also know that for a tractor she's quick. any info you can give will be helpful

14's & 16's are identical except for engine size & the round 14/16 decal.
