Greetings all !

I am a new member to this forum. I retired from the military and have taken over the small family farm from My dad. We have 2 tractors on it along with a bunch of equipment. We have a Hesston 55-56 and a Massey 135. I was just wondering about the Massey. Are ALL the Massey 135 clutch foot pedals kinda tough to push in? Just curious ......

You say its hard to push .that could be a couple of things . A newer pressure plate and throw out bearing was put in with a stronger springs ,or it could be the fingers in the pressure plate have wear and the throw-out bearing is going bad.:greendr:

Its just the nature of the beast, they operate at a wierd angle, instead of pushing forward like most tractors you are pushing down with your knee bent,
good way to build up thigh muscles :)

Welcome to the forum and thanks for your service. Hope the farming goes well.
you will develop a strong left leg. We have one that we use at the deer lease along with a 49 8N and you will almost break the pedal off that 8n if you get off the 135 and straight on the 8n
