market price for an lx176...

Is $900 a good price to pay for a good condition 1997 lx176 with the 48" mulching deck? Also, i know the motor is a K series, but what is the trans? a K61?

On www.machinefinder.com I see them listed from $995 - $1895 and more. Condition and maintenance history are everything. :)
