I need an owners and repair manual for a 2000 series tractor with 20 hp Koehler magnum engine. I checked that list of manuals posted and couldn't find one for the 2000 series. Can anyone help me?

Thanks Rich. Do you know if they made a hydraulic angling snow plow for this model tractor. It has the front hydraulic ports so I would imagine there would be one available. Sonny's lists a 54 inch plow but it is not hydraulic angling. Do you know if one from a Troybuilt GTX 20 would work on the Bolens?
Thanks again for the site on Bolens manuals!!

Hey that is a nice set up you have. I found this 2000 that is for sale with mower deck for a good price but I would really like to have a hydraulic angling plow to go with it. I guess a used one would be pretty hard to find and if you could find a new one it would probably be out of site price wise.($1000 or better) I can't afford that. I know another guy that is selling a Troybuilt GTX 20 with a hydro angling plow and a beat up useless mower deck for $1975. Way too much. I took a look at it and gave him a low ball figure and he rejected it. The tractor is kind of beat as well (not pristine like yours). I would just like to buy the plow from him but I don't know if he is willing to sell just the plow. What do you think would be a good price to offer on just the plow?
I'm between a rock and a hard place because I would really like to buy the 2000 but it doesn't have a plow and if I can't locate one then the tractor will only be capable of doing half of what I want it to do.

Thanks for the tips on locating a plow. I checked out the one near me in Pa. and it was sold. The other one in CT is a bit too far. I need to find one in and around Pittsburgh, Pa. or the try state area(Ohio, WV. or Maryland. I picked up the tractor today. As soon as I take some pics I'll:thThumbsU post them. It is in nice shape. The seat could stand to be replaced(has several cracks) and it has two different size rear tires. One is a 23x10.50x12 and the other is 23x8.50x12. The 8.50 is dry rotted and cracked but still holds air ok. I'm going to see if I can pick up a take off 10.50 from the cub dealer near me and replace that 8.50. New battery, new starter cellanoid, two new front tires. Came with a 48" deck that is in nice shape.(no holes and a new idler pulley). One question. How do you get the front part of the mower drive shaft off of the front pto. Is that a spring collar that attaches it to the front pto.

Yes, just pull back on the collar to unlock the coupling as you pull back on the whole shaft.

Thanks guys,
I'll try both ways tomorrow and see if I can get the drive shaft off of the front pto. I'll let you know which one worked. Pictures are coming soon! I had some new lights to hang in the barn and that project took first place over the new machine.
