To remove the whole handle assy. you have to knock out the spiral pin in the yellow cast iron part at the botton, but to get the whole handle off I believe that the fenders must be removed first. After the spiral pin is out the handle is a real pain to get off of the rockshaft, you have to hold the rockshaft still, while moving the handle forward and backward WHILE prying out on it at the same time. One of those deals where one person doesn't have enough hands and two people get in each others way. If I'm not mistaken somewhere in the yellow cast part is a "slot" that you can drive a screwdriver tip into to help spread it out for "easier removal"
