This is my version of a Gravely attachment torque measuring tool. Torque is measured utilizing a torque wrench and a 7/8" socket. These are the raw materials involved. DOM tubing 1-3/4" OD x 1-1/8" ID. The final length of this component is 1/4", so there is plenty of extra shown. Hex stock, 7/8" x 1-3/8" long. Square stock, 3/8" x 2-1/2" long.

Locating ring, bored to 1-1/4" and parted off the DOM tube @ .250" thick. Final OD, 1.74".

The 7/8" hex being milled with a 3/8" wide and deep slot to accept the key stock.

That's a 1/4" solid carbide TiCN coated end mill.

Test fit.

Mocked up.

Test fitted to face gear.

Finish welded. Ready for action :fing32:
