I had a old 318 hood from a tractor my brother is parting out so I decided to take it to work and see what what my coworker could come up with. I couldn't tell you what color of yellow was my 316 hood decal from new (too long ago to remember) so we just took a stab at it. I also had him slightly change the lettering of JOHN DEERE just to be different and I never really liked the way the original letters were spaced. I just threw these over my original decals since mine aren't cracked or messed up in any way. I figure the new ones will protect them and I can always pull them off.

The hood decals we made have a UV clear laminate over the print so the sun wont fade it and it will be protected from scratches.

Since we had to change the 8 in 318 to a 6 for my 316 I had him print out both sets. I'd kinda like to hear what you guys think about them. :thanku:

Sure... set off the equivalent of a tractor arms race. Next I'll have to be driving around on my Johnathan Deere 1850 and we'll have threads on how to extend the hoods to fit the Jon Deeere LAA 14,000,000 decal :hide:

Thanks guys, I did minor changes to suit me but I was just wondering what others thought. If anyone wants some custom decals made just send me a PM and I'll see what I can do. For a reference, my boss said my flames would be $35 and my hood decals would be $20 a set.

I whipped up a steering wheel decal the other day, turned out pretty well I think.

Love the steering wheel decal. Really like th way the negavite space opens up from the bottom of the leg.
