Here's a back blade I made from an old Gilson front blade and an engine stand, cheap!

I also made the sleeve hitch myself. I made it for my old 112 but it fits right on my New X500!. It's actuated with a linear actuator with the DPDT switch wired behind the seat.

I thought it was set back too much so I shortened it by 12".

I like it too !

but that next engine's going to be a back breaker now that it's a foot shorter.

Great idea , makes me wish I hadn't given my second one away!

Great job, what was your total cost with material?

Well, got the blade thrown in when I bought my 112 but I've seen these Gilson blades online for $75. Paid $15 for the engine stand on a garage sale. So about $90. I have it mounted now for fall grading and winter snow moving.
