Ok guys and gals it's time to start getting some nominations together
for MTF's Machine of the Month for May 2017!

Please post a photo of the machine to be nominated, the owner's forum handle and a link to the thread you found the photo in!

Myself and the rest of the MTF staff members have made a few changes to the contest. We've decided on three ground rules for it, they are as follows:

(1)-We want active member's machinery nominated for the MoM contest, please!
(2)-Stumping for votes on the forum by anyone is not allowed. Posts and/or threads to the like will be removed on sight by staff members and could lead to a nominee's machine being removed from contention in the contest. A simple :bump9: of the voting thread is allowed by members to generate interest in the contest, but not the nominees.
(3)-Member may only win MoM once with a particular machine. If he or she happens to be a collector of machinery the member would be eligible after one year's time with another machine.

Maybe I'm not reading this right, but what are the requirements? Full sized or a tiller (for an example).

rlowe's 2012 John Deere X748 H5

Roger has done a fantastic job with all his upgrades!!!! Sure its not 40 years old but good work should be recognized regardless of age!

Some of the upgrades:
- Added three hydro spools to give the machine a total of 5 spools of hydros (one of which is a hydro top link).
- Numerous modifications to the cab so a loader can be attached with the cab on.
- Tons of modifications to all the attachments he uses.

Roger is the man and his custom x748 is incredible. My favorite of his modifications is the quick attach he custom made for the 45 loader. It looks better than factory!!

Okay, I had another nominee in mind, but after reviewing rlowe's 2012 John Deere X748 H5; I'll back Roger! I spent an hour viewing his Youtube posts and his GT works to perfection!

I'd really like to see it in person...nudge, nudge, wink, wink.

BTW, can anyone nominate, or just supporters?

I'm happy to be the first to nominate Donewrken's totally home built "Donhoe" backhoe/loader.
A work of art and engineering excellence; he hand built the body panels from sheet metal. Just look at the finish on this beauty.

I know ya'll love those classic garden tractor renovations, but this machine is in a class of it's own, in my humble opinion.

The thread is epic, you might want to skip to the end ;http://www.mytractorforum.com/119-home-made-tractors-implements-accessories/953730-my-latest-project-part-two-177.html

Now I'm not sure how this new "No stumping for votes" rule is supposed to work; because it would seem to ban further comments about any of the nominees.
Are double nominations allowed [seconding a nomination]?

Double nominations are unnecessary because every nominee will be included in the voting poll.

Any comments or praise of the machines being nominated should be posted in the restoration/build thread.
