M - no oil to rockers
Don't where to go next? Overhauled my M and had the local machine shop bore it and install new cam bearings. Well no oil to rockers. Pull the engine out agian and the rear cam bearing was not aligned with oil feed port.
Machine shop installed another set of cam bearings and this time aligned the feed hole. Reinstalled and guess what? No oil feeding yet.
The first time I had no oil in the galley where the feed port is in the block to rockers. This second time I have oil in the galley, but no pressure to feed up to the rockers. Oil filter gauge reads within normal.
Any suggestions?

IWLBCNU - Thanks for the reply. I was thinking like you since I installed a new head, but after removing the feed line between the block and head there is no oil pressure coming out of the block. Through the port I can see the end of the cam and since the cam bushing is aligned in the block - oil can now be seen, but will not feed up out of the block.
I tried the link and even pasted it to the browser with no luck. Is there something I can search by?
I believe the manual is referring to installing the expansion plug to deep. I can see down the port in the block between the plug and cam. The space/area between the plug and cam is now getting oil, but it won't fill up or push out of the port (rocker feed) hole.

I have a manual. I marked the page and left the manual with the machine shop twice now. Apparently they didn't use it and this engine is very critical with this cam bearing installation. I guess out of the tractor it goes again and then to another machine shop.

Well after pulling this engine out 3 times, I finally solved the problem. When the machine shop installed the rear cam bearing incorrectly the first time and the rocker arms wore into the shaft. The metal ruined the main bearings and crankshaft, which the oil pressure bled off and not enough pressure to the rockers. Ground the crank and fired it up today. Finally oil to rockers!!!!
