hi people i`m new to the craftsman lawn tractor,we bought an lt2000 which i am led to believe has done less than 50 hours from new although on paper it`s just 2 years old.the problem is when you release the drive pedal to engauge the hydro drive it seems to make a lot of noise almost like a dry screaming bearing it also tries to creep in neutral,as soon as the drive pedal is depressed all the noise stops and just the engine can be heard which sounds sweet. any ideas or is this normal?

thanks

I'm guessing it is the idler pulley bearing. You should be able to pinpoint where it's coming from by holding a pipe to your ear.

As for the creep in neutral, you need to adjust the shifter.
