I just changed oil and oil filter in my LT1045. Now the oil light and Chg Oil warning are on and will not go off. Oil shows full on dipstick, there are no leaks, and I tried disconnecting and reconnect:banghead3 :banghead3 ing battery. Any suggestions?

It will go off by itself in an hour or two of use. Welcome to the forum. I also have a LT 1045.

jeeper is correct. The "Chg Oil" comes up at every recommended oil change interval, and goes away about 2 hours later.

I thought the same thing when it said change oil,thought oil had leaked out,that was on my 2166,same on my 2542,but as I found out,no problem.Phil.
