About a week ago I started up my Cub Cadet LT1045 and tried to engage the mowing deck. When I pulled the knob to start the mowing deck, the drive belt slipped off. I managed to get the belt back on but now the mowing deck won't start. When I pull the knob, absolutely nothing happens......

Does anyone have any ideas / suggestions on what might be the issue or how I should go about troubleshooting it?

Check the plug going to the PTO. The belt might have knocked it loose when it came off.

Thank you for the suggestion.....I checked it and it appears to be securely connected.

Get an ohmmeter and check to see if the PTO switch is working. There has been some of those that have gone bad.
