I have a LT 1000 20 HP Briggs with a blown head gasket, does anybody have a part # for the head gasket. and a good place to buy one. And how about a manual ( PDF) so I can do the job. Thanks much Clap

Provide the Sears 917.xxxxxxx number or engine MODEL & TYPE numbers and one can provide a part#.
There's a LOT of 20 HP Briggs & a LOT of LT1000's. Which one?

You could go to searspartsdirect.com and probably find an OM.
You could also go to the Briggs website and download an IPL.

Thanks Bill All I need now is how to adjust my valves. Rocker came loose and that what my problem was
