Yes I wish they made the super thick blades for the Cub Cadet ZT, like the JD blades. MTD blades are wet noodles by comparison and won't hold an edge. I've gone almost an entire season on my JD blades before touching them up with the two angle method.

Those XT3 blades are MTD blades. It's shocking the difference in them and the star blades in construction and durability. I just blasted a baseball sized rock the other day and I can't even find a significant nick on them. It would have wadded one of my old star blades up.

If 'ugga dugga machine" is a 15/16" box wrench at the end of my arm, while laying on my side, with the dog trying to bite my ears for play time, then yes.

My ugga dugga machine is a 1200 ft lb Snap-on. Gotta be careful...
