My neighbor picked up this for the engine. It had a 4 cyl. Cummins with a turbo. Sunday it still had everything on it except the screened cab. I didn't have the camera Sunday. Three of the picks are the transmission. Does anyone know what the machine was and the transmission? There were no brand names or model numbers on the machine. It was getting late and the pics aren't that good. I didn't think he would have it torn apart that quick either. He is around 72 years old.
Mike,
You can't say that many more because the newer machines utilize many different makers of engines. Like Yammar, Kabota, Cummins, Mitsubishi, and Duetz.
But back in the era of the log skidder posted by the OP Terex might have used Detroits only. Times are changing or should I say have changed....
