I am rebuilding a John Deere 420. I would like to customize it somewhat. I know there isn't ample extra power but would like to add a set of work lights on the front and rear and a set of amber flashing lights to the rear fender. Where can a guy get lights that look right size wise? What have others done?

JD now offers LED lights as accessories which woudl not draw too much power. You can also replace your existing incandescent lamps with LEDs which will give you more power for accessories.
Also check the lighting display at most Flying J or Pilot Truck Stops. Lots of good options there for LED markers, flashers, etc. I got started using LED lighting for Search and Rescue to extend battery life and have now converted many of my lights to LED.
