Getting a little Retirement anxious, last work day is next Friday then I go into retirement vacation. Have to go in on the 23rd to sign over all my equipment and give up the City phone, then Jan 8th to file for the actual 1/31/21 retirement.

You know all that stuff that you are doing? Well you probably think you'll have even more time to do that once you're retired.:) Well I don't know why we all think that is true but I'm here to tell you you will be busier than a one armed paper hanger and it won't be on your own projects. Don't know why but most folks that stay busy before retirement say they don't know how they ever got so much done cause after retirement there aren't enough hours in the day. :(
Hmm, maybe it's because we are working slower. At least that's what my wife is always telling me when I start complaining about how long a job is taking me to complete.
But even so, I'm glad to be retired, loved the job but retirement is better. Enjoy yours.

Some of us don't have that doing projects for everyone else situation! I think I've only done one or two projects that weren't for me. I've lined enough up so that I have something to do when I want, but I can just stop and relax whenever I want. My family is about an hour away and they don't ask me to do much and I don't volunteer either. Enjoy your retirement and remember it's yours, you can say yes or no to any projects others want to give you! You've earned that right!

One thing I noticed being retired is once you turn 65 seems like you see more doctors more often. Its not from bad health. Its just natural to see a lot of specialist to make sure you stay in good health. Some say see you in three months, some say see you in six months, some say see you next year.

I did burgers on the grill this evening in a T-shirt. Still not bad out 58* right now. Supposed to get cooler next week, mainly at night.

Well I was going to ask if anyone still has any of these, but after weed whacking I threw this on the Grill. Wife is making Turkey sandwiches.

Decided to start re-arranging the shop some. I don't use the movie screen any more (I have a portable one now) so I needed to start on this one wall. I moved the peg board up, planning to add another next to this one. I found a large wire shelf, but didn't like the way it looked there. Put a regular shelf and moved the wire shelf over-head. Well, It's a start.

These temporary tables are the next projects to do. The one against the wall has been there for several years. Getting used to my Christmas present.
