Lgt Loader Value

Found a guy with a 165, and a 145, with only 1 14hp kohler. 165 currently has the loader on it, wheel weights and chains. No other attachments and he wants 2500 for all that? Am I to cheap or is that to expensive?

That is an incredible bargain ....if you are looking for a tractor ( or 2) you better jump on that package...it is an absolute steal...sounds like you have to take the engine out of the 145 and put it into the 165...not a big difference,,,but either of those 2 kohlers are very good engines and parts available (Isavetractors.com)....I see that the engine is missing...check to make sure the hydro pump is sitll there...not expensive to get one if it isn't
Thing is, I'm not really looking for a tractor, just the loader. Does that loader have it's own pump? Or does it run off the Eaton in the rear end?
You will have to check, but on a tractor that size I think that you will find that it has its own pump..so if you want just the loader you can get a gear type hydraulic pump from Surplus for about $110....you could buy t all and part out the rest and get money back...what do you want to put the loader on?
Around here, that loader would go for $2500 by itself. It should have a pump with it. You could likely sell off the 2 tractors for $500 or so. The wheel weights are also worth something.......Plus, that $2500 is in Canadian,,,,,,so under $2000 US
Yeah guy said it was all mine. Was gonna jump on it. Not even 2 hours later he says his neighbor found out he was selling it and took it home😔 now I'm still loaderless!!!
At $2500 I wouldnt call that a steal....... I only paid $800 for my closed sided lgt165 with loader and there was a running/working opensided lgt165 with loader for sale near here for $1500 not long ago.
There are bargains to be had. You just have to be in the right place at the right time to get them. GTs with loaders don't come around as bargains all that often.

That IS a good price for a working tractor/loader plus a parts tractor. In US$ - about 1800 +/-..
Anybody with a loader willing to share some pics with me? I'm a CWB welder and I have access to brake presses, pipe benders, lasers, you name it. If I knew more if what they look like I'd look into making my own
Lots of pics of loaders in this thread.

There are also several build threads for loaders if you do a search.

A new hydraulic system for a GT loader will run $1000 or more. PAL is about the best Canadian source that I've come across.

Someone on the JD forum is building a loader for his 318...you might get some ideas from that
