When I was a boy scout leader, I always taught my boys to always be prepared. As someone who has a vivid imagination and slightly eccentric, I like to be prepared for the unusual. As most know, lemans racers run diferent headlight colors for different classes, the yellow lights are for the slower classes, GT2 and lower.
So, If I get transferred to France and I am mowing the mulsannne straight, the prototype cars and gt class won't mistake me for one of their class and continue racing without incident. If I am behind a GT2 and lower car they know that they can continue on their racing line. For $2.99 amber 1056 bulbs, I am cool. I added some examples for comparison.
