The stock lights in my Yanmar are non-functional, and with the weak charging system I'd like to go with LEDs. I am after something that will either fit or shine through a 3.5"x4" opening, give a decent spread of light for working, but still be fairly low profile as there isn't a whole lot of room behind the grille. There is plenty of airflow in the area for cooling as the radiator is right behind the lights with the fan drawing through.
Got anything that might fit this application?

HI:
Have you tried Harbor Tool? They have selection of LED lights.

The good thing about LED lights is that you can install them without putting in a new tractor generator!

While there you can get two round chrome platted round 10 Lb. magnets.

You can mount the LED lights to the magnets to the hood of the tractor, wire them up. Then withuot any drilling, you have headlights!

I'm actually going for clean and professional looking, not magnet lights, otherwise I would just go buy some of the myriad magnet base lights available off the shelf.

Check out "RIGID" LED setups, We use them for our JEEP's and they work very well. The set that I have on one of our JEEP's measure roughly 3.5"x3.5" square.

also EBAY has a HUGE selection of what your looking for
