I have a leaking hydraulic line on my 300.Its the line that runs from the left side of the pump to the upper rear of the valve.It looks like it just doesnt seat properly.
I have a few questions.
1) Can it be reflared?
2)what would the angle of the flare be?
3)should the flarenut be reused or replaced?
4) Or is the line available from John Deere?

If you tried to tighten it and it still leaks, the line or fitting is probably cracked and the whole line needs to be replaced. Hydraulic lines rarely have enough extra length for making them shorter by even the length of one fitting and still having them fit without causing a problem at some point in its length. You can try, but don't hold your breath.

If John Deere hasn't got the line, a good hydraulics shop can make it.
