Looking to build a leaf pick-up trailer, using just the discharge of my rider mower. I won't be using a vacuum system, but shooting into a trailer/bag set-up. What I need is the hose to run from the deck boot to the trailer/bag. I am thinking 7" or 8", with a smooth or realtively smooth interior. I've found plenty of hose available, but the price ranges from $23 and up.
Is any one aware of a hose that will do the job, which would be a bit cheaper????? I am thinking 6'-8' will do it.

Years ago I made my own trailer with a vacuum. I tried black drainage hose and it was too stiff. Those hoses get a beating so in the long run it might be better to buy the good stuff if you have the $$ for it. PS if you want to make a blower you could use the 2nd stage from a broken down 2 stage snowblower.
