I have 7350 and 7268 LBs and they only have the nut, blade and collar.....but in the LB manual it shows a blade stiffener. But on jackssmallengines diagram it does NOT show the stiffener as a part. What gives ? Should I have a stiffener...both mowers provide nice cut grass as they are now. Appreciate any replies.

With the tri cut blade,, throw the stiffener away.
Well, don't toss it, but just don't try to use it with a tri cut blade.

None of mine have the blade stiffner on them. If there is no play in the blades I would not worry about it.

Thanks bald-guy...i looked at some blade pics to see what a tri-cut looks like...its what I have. Good info to know thanks again.

Yep, the tri-cut style blade has the stiffener built in by being cupped in the middle. Keep your old stiffener in case you run across a deal on the old style blades.
