It seems as if earlier L-Bs never really boasted their horsepower ratings like other 4-cycle engines usually did. Prior to the F-series, I don't ever recall any sales brochures really even mention it. They always mentioned "commercial-grade 2-cycle engine" but I never really saw anything on the older ones as far as their rated horsepower.

So, if anyone can help me out, I've listed about as many L-B engines as I knew, and left the ones blank that I don't know the HP of. Please fill in as many blanks or correct any errors that you can find.

Iron Horse (pre-OMC):
C-series:
D-400:
D-600:
F-series: 4-4.5 HP (depending on year)
V-series: 4.5 HP
DuraForce: 6.5 HP
