Last Toro GT?

I have not been keeping up, but was told Toro no longer makes a true Garden Tractor. If so, what was the last model or models of GT's they produced, capable of handling ground engaging implements? Also, if true, what was the last year of production?

I believe they stopped making the Toro Classic (with the nice heavy tranny) in 2007. You can still find them at dealers, but they are a bit pricey.

Toro does continue to offer a GT2100 and GT2200, both of which will handle ground engaging equipment.

The last one that was a true WH, horizontal shaft and accepted the 73 and up attach a mattic accessories was 2007, I have found an NOS 07 and 06 both have a $4500 asking price, not bad for a tractor that will last you 30 years, maybe more. The GT2100/GT2200 is MTD

Here's a place still selling new Toro GT550's (basically a 5Xi), 20hp Kohler. Don't know where they're getting them from since I thought these were no longer made. Saw this link in another thread thanks to poster awd.
