I have a 2005 LA 120 when I release the brake the sounds were horrendous the bearings are shot in the idler pulley wheel so I took the deck off went to remove them with a socket and they just spin then that will not back off any ideas

Those have a carriage bolt in them it has a flat top with a square flange that's supposed to lock in place . If u did lossen it up some it may have dropped down a little and it's not allowing u to to spin it off see it u can push it back up and remove5he nut .If it's stripped u will have to cut it off and put a new one in they can be a pain man

If pushing it back into the hole to hold it while you remove the nut doesn't work, I've also used visegrips to hold the round end to unbolt them.
