Started up the L130 today. Went to move it and the tranny was whining and not engaging all the way. Further inspection revealed the drive belt appeared to be stretched a bit. Is there a belt adjustment or do I have to replace the belt?

No adjustment that I know of on those L100 series...

Check the idler pulley and spring--but usually just replace the belt with OEM.

Make sure no guides are bent over or loose also--

Oh--and Welcome here to MTF!!!

With the engine OFF and the parking brake NOT set, reach under the tractor and grab the left side of the belt. Try to pull the belt forward. If you can, with little effort, then most likely one of three things has happened:
- The tension spring on the idler plate (on right side run of the belt) is broken
- The belt is stretched (probably not, if you put it away working)
- The belt has popped off of the idler pulley or (please say "No!") the hydro pulley.

There are other, much less likely causes - like the hydro splines are shot - but I'm assuming it was working okay when you put it away.

Let us know what you find.

HTH,
Paul
