Lately it has been tricky to get the brake pedal in just the right position to turn over my L110. Today I can't find a spot that it will turnover at all. Where is the actual switch located and how do I fix it?

Thanks

Hi
The brake switch is located at the base of the foot petal by the floorboard and the fire wall. Best access is to remove the battery. As i recall the switch snaps into the frame. Sounds like a new switch is all you may need. $20-$25 bucks from John Deere. Best of luck!

If you look in from the front left side you'll see the switch. It's easy to get at and fix or replace. As mentioned, they do sometimes loosen in the mount. You can see the switch and its mounting tabs in the picture below on my L120:

Gentlemen: Thank you all for responding. I have always been able to get good answers here. The pic. was great. After I got your responses I went to Home Depot where I could look at a new "clean" machine! Came home, removed the battery for better access. Unfortunately the switch was in place and the activation paddle was depressing the switch button all the way. So, since I have a 145 for backup I'll order a switch online as I have found that parts at our local John Deere dealer to be on the high side. Again thanks so much for getting me on the right track. I'll let you know the end results.
