Picked this loader up about a week ago, down in ny for $500. Lets just say it didnt have the easiest life.

Heres the original bucket I also got a larger bucket for snow.

If you look close you can notice the right side of the frame is bent downwards slightly.

This right side had cracked and someone had hacked it together with bolts and angle steel.

Here is the left side that is bent.

Heres the new plate I made.

The right side finished.

Both sides finished.

Looking good. I need to do some similar repairs on mine.
SAY WHA! I saw that on craigslist too, I called last weekend and he said he just sold it earlier that day. Im glad that it was sold to somebody on this site. Are you going to find an engine and the other missing parts, or use it as a parts tractor? I was interested in the loader for my 71.

I think I will use the other machine as a parts tractor, I have been looking for a loader like this for quite sometime for my late 60s pk. This one is a little beat, The guy I bought it from said he had got a job to tear down a friends barn, the friends grandfather was supposedly a dealer of these machines, so when he opened up the barn door it was full of power kings and attachments, his friend said just scrap them so he ended up with about a dozen or so tractors with various attachments bus saws sickle bars ect... He told me he was bringing them all to auction in a couple of weeks but I can’t recall were.

He was smart to not scrap them. I think I still have his phone number, I will call him when I get a chance and let everybody know what he says. I know the guy had 2 of them on craigslist, this one and an older round hood. Hopefully he will tell my where he will auction them off.
Good find. :trink39: Scrappers make me sick, useless idiots.

Anyway, your loader's the same as mine, and mine was also broken several times. There's some places mine's messed up yours isn't, that I suggest reinforcing so you don't have future troubles, I'll post a drawing tomorrow of what I'm talking about. IMHO the original mounting was, at best, poor.

Still a little out of wack.

Itt looks as though someone has welded this before I will fix that.

CRITICAL to anyone who is makeing similar repairs to ther loader make sure these measures are exactly the same.

A good coat of primer I just through a good coat of paint on it I will post some pics of that tomorow.
