Hey guys. I was wondering if any of you had the 50" front mount snowblower and the Front end loader for their kubota's. I am wondering what it will take to switch back and forth. I am hoping to use both during the winter.
The BX1860 uses the same blower. It comes off in about 10 minutes, including the quick hitch. The loader goes on in about 5-10 minutes, depending on how proficient you become. It will come off in 5 minutes and the blower and quick hitch mount back up in about 15-20 minutes if everything lines up. I mount the blower once a year so I'm not as quick as some. I can't imagine using the loader if you have the blower unless you have insufficient room to throw the snow.
I will mostly use the blower. But there is 3 of us on a private hill side drive. The loader would be nice for when i cant get to the driveway and the neighbor piles the snow up with his truck.
I'm north of Albany. Yes, the loader will work well for snow piles. Hope you have a warm, dry place to make the switch. You have to get down to remove the drive shaft. :1221:
