I have a b1550 hydrostatic tractor that will go forward an rev. but has no power. I have changed the fluid, filter and cleaned the suction screen. still no power. I don't have any hair left to pull. any help would be helpful. thanks, david

Check the linkages to make sure that

1) the brake itself is not engaged, and

2) the shaft in the transmission controlled by the foot pedal actually turns.

There shouldn't be a problem with either, but something as simple as a connecting pin or key securing a bell crank to a shaft that has sheared or moved out of position can have the same effect and is easy to verify.

Are there any other symptoms, or performance level changes, that occurred prior to the loss of power?
