Hello to all. I have a kibota 3901 and was in the middle of clearing out some small trees and brush. It was working perfectly and all of a sudden stopped working. It dosent even make any noise when I try to start it. I looked underneath and saw this part hanging and wondered if it has anything to do with the issue. Does anyone know what this part is and if it is the issue View attachment 2509928

Looks like a plunger-style switch that has come loose (there is typically 2 nuts on it, one on one side of a bracket, the second on the other side of the bracket to hold it in a precise position. One of your nuts has likely vibrated off, and then the switch fell out.

You need to get another nut (it should be a fairly common size), and then reinstall/adjust the switch to be positioned properly. I have no idea what/where that switch should go.
