I went to clean the carb on my Gravely 16G that is equipped with a Kohler Magnum 18 engine, and found the main jet screw head snapped off. I had adjusted it about three weeks ago, and found the threads smooth, so I did not snap it off with too much torque. It snapped off flush with the top of the carb.

Do I have to buy another carb, or could i possibly use a dremel to cut a slot in the stub, and unscrew it? I'm assuming that the jet might be brass, and easy to cut a slot in.

I can't imagine a new carb is cheap.
