With all the talk about Kohler Courage engine problems has me wondering.

Who as the longest running with out repair other than preventive maintenance

Whats your hour count, what hp, single or twin. Factory rep told me they go 2000 hours, I've begun to doubt after all I've read that the majority will ever go that distance without a major rebuild.

Mine is in an '08 Sears GTS6500 with a wopping 38 hours, 24 hp twin. Whats your count and do you believe the Courage motors will go the 2000 hrs?

I have an 07 Cub LT 1045 with the 20 hp single that has 65 hrs. How long it lasts is a wait and see.

I've seen some lower priced commercial zero turns with the courage. They would rack up the hours fast.

Come on folks I know theres an owner on this forum with more than 65 hours.

I have 130 hours on my 27 horse Kohler Courage in my 06 Cub GT 1554. So far so good!!!

My cousin have 05-06 Cub LT 1045 it have courage it 160 hours now.

Still run but notice burn blue oil found that pvc hose is crumb that cause leak.
