Hello all. I have been mowing my yard with a very nice 2009 Snapper 28" Hi-Vac RER that I picked up last year but over time I decided that 28" is too small for me, so I sold it and went out to purchase a replacement. I found this really nice 2005 John Deere LT190 on craigslist and decided to check it out. It looked nice in person so I bought it and brought her home just this evening. It runs very well and drives nicely. It has just 196 hours on her. I think she will work well for my small yard. Best part of all is the hood has no cracks! Before mowing season I will go through her and make sure she is good and ready for the job. What do yall think? Did I get a good one?

YEAH! I'd say you got a nice machine, definitely an upgrade over the Snapper. But....... I'm in love with the Speedex parked behind it.

That's a nice find, the LT machines are really sturdy and comfortable to operate, you'll really enjoy it!

Great score and almost half price to boot.

I’ve had a few LT180s. Same thing just with 17 hp Kawasaki. Plenty of power for a 48 in deck.

Nice find! Hopefully you have an easier time than I did finding a new idiot light dash overlay. I tried to find one for my 332 and all I can find is friggin' 318 ones. Lol.

Thanks yall! I did a small bit of mowing with her yesterday. It is such an absolute pleasure to mow with. It cuts so smooth and it is very quiet. I really like it a lot.

I’ve had a lt160 since 2004. Other than the seat cracking and last year the darn preformed plastic hood mount busting I’ve had zero issues. New battery every couple years and now it’s hoodless/commando lol but it’s been great for the acre or so I mow it with. Mine actually still has the original drive and mower deck belts. Mower deck belt is chewed up a bit so I have a spare ready to go but like I said pretty darn good for over 15 years old
