Welcome to the forum:MTF_wel2:. I have a mid seventies Case 580 ck loader backhoe ( with a phone booth). It sounds like both of ours lived the same kind of life. Does your missing battery cover appear to be a flat plate? If so I can send you measurements etc. from mine. Your engine hood/tin appears to be different so may not be the same style machine. I do know the front end on mine is from another machine so who knows what else may have been changed.
