There's just no end what can be done with the right depth pockets.Only short-coming I noticed was chipper didn't appear to have a "self feed" ---wouldn't like to think too long on that sort of mishap.

defiantly agreed on the chipper, not the safest thing out there, but this track idea..i like it alot

I like the "Caterpiller".
That would be a fun thing to have to just ride around on in the snow.

That's a wild little JD you posted there, Kbeitz.
Looks like they made the track system themselves and did an excellent job.
I wonder what they used for the rubber track itself ?

The tread pattern looks like a heavy industrial tire with the sidewalls cut out.

That's one Neat looking CC crawler seems he got the look just right , a bit of a shame he made only one, as hes said lots of work went into designing and making dies and fixture to make a number of components for the finished machine .
