Joining from Missouri

Hello - My name is Paul and I grew up on our family farm in Missouri but live in town now. We did just about everything on our farm from milking cows, fattening cattle & hogs to growing alfalfa and row crops. I have always loved doing everything mechanical and I joined this site to learn and discuss lawn tractors. Ive been reading on this site for a while and enjoy it very much. My current lawn tractor is a 1998 MTD Yard Machines with Briggs I/C twin 17.5 hp and 46 inch deck (3 blades). Due to the age of this unit, I want to research the best replacement when that time comes however I have absolutely no problems with the current unit that does everything I need.
