I have a x729 about 10 years old and only 230 hours. It started running rough for a few weeks and finally died. I wasn’t getting any fuel pressure to the engine. So I replaced the fuel pump, then when I went to turn it over the relay made a awful sound (cracking and hissing) so I replaced that. Went to turn over, fuel pump primed got flow of gas to engine but relay still making awful sound and engine will not start. I can get the engine to start using starter fluid in the air intake. So I know it’s not a spark issue. Sounds like a deeper electrical issue and maybe I didn’t need to replace pump in the first place. If anyone has experience with this issue let me know.

If the relay is buzzing that means it is being switched on and off very quickly. Maybe a bad connection on the coil (control) side of the relay. It's fuel injected so there is power, the relay, ground, and a computer involved. When you turn the key on, the pump runs for 3 seconds and shuts off. When during that process does it buzz?
