Hope i am in the right place!
I have a "M" that was just rebuilt. It had sit for 2 years. It was bored and rings ...
Picked it up from the guy that rebuilt it, (he does this for a living) and it ran great!
Now I have a problem but he fell and is in rehab so I cannot ask him.
So I am bush hogging and it ran for 3 hours fine. Then it started with a faint miss. Rather than hurt it I shut it off. Felt of the engine and it is cool. Checked the oil and it is full and also cool. Opened the Radiator and only got a burp and it is full.
Decided to try it again and it ran for a lap and quit. Before it quit I pulled out the choke and it ran better for a 30 seconds but starts missing and quits.
Next day I pull the carb. off and drain it. Note that the sight glass has some red in it and do the same with it. Looks like I have rust in tank?
Restarted it and it only made one lap and starts with same problem and then quits.
I am thinking take carb. off and see if clogged up.
Any suggestions.
