John Deere lt155

Hey all,

I just replaced my drive belt on my LT155. The new belt is kicking off when I hit the brake. I've watched all the videos that show the need to replace the bolt on the idler arm/ tension arm that gets worn and loose causing the belt to kick off. Part #?????? Any help would be appreciated.

I believe I am now officially a "NASCAR" style mower deck removal and replacement expert having taking the mow deck off so many times to reinstall the belt.

Ready to repair and move on.

thanks in advance for any help!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello CAScott1,

Did you check to see if the pully/tension arm was loose? That may or may not be the issue. I've thrown parts at things before only to later find out that it was something entirely different. Did you buy the OEM belt and verify that it was the same size? I've had that happen before where I had the wrong size belt.

Thanks Moze229-

I did verify the belt and double checked the tension arm. It was actually loose the first time it threw the belt.................the parts diagram is what I was searching for.
The advice and diagram are much appreciated........................
