have 50" deck - jd part m41668 - new belt and seems 3 or 4 inches short. the part shows to be correct but it didn't have a belt when we got it and no manual to check- anyone have a routing page they can email?

we have a 316 and 318 along with the 332 and have no trouble with threading the belts. just thought it was odd that the new belt doesn't fit. doesn't look to have any non jd pulleys but you never know. this deck is 50" model and hoping it was something more obvious. thanks 318 you are always helpful.

Does it fit everything but to the idler when put on the deck? Possibly someone put the wrong idler spring on it (too short)??? Just a guess on my part!

turns out that the idler arm bolt was in the wrong hole. belt is on, i knew it was something like that but all is well, thanks again.
