to start the hydro in my lawn tractor goes forward and reverse fine, the issue is when I try and move the shifter to neutral to allow me to move it by hand in the garage. the shifter is fine and the linkage is has well, the nipple that protrudes from the hydro is frozen in place. when I purchased the mower it had been sitting for awhile. any suggestions? also I would like to change the oil in my hydrostat and cannot find a link, every time I use the search it brings up a bunch of links that don't have anything to do with what i'm looking for, thanks!

I had the same issue last week. I hit it with WD40 then I turned the nut 1/2 turn Then I turned the pin it has a square head. Finally I took the the two bolts off that support the lever and I taped the pin with a hammer. All of a sudden it was free and now seams to work fine. Good luck
