Finally got a chance to get the digital camera and tripod out tonight to get pictures of the JDLED vs. 1156 bulb comparison.
Here are the details and equipment invloved:
Tractor: 1988 JD 430 w/ 47 snowblower: chute set all the way to the starboard discharge position and blower resting on the ground (set up just like it would be blowing snow)
Camera: Crappy Kodak C813 digital camera: auto exposure ISO 400 setting no flash
Tripod set for camera lens center line 62" off the ground
Tripod set directly behind tractor with two front legs butted up to back of rear tires
The 1156 lamps are as follows:
Center lamp is off brand 50 watt replacement 1156 (it gets HOT when on!)
(2) Side bulbs are Sylvania Silverstar 1156 ST 26.9 W replacements
I will let the pictures do the talking.....:trink39:
Starting with Top Left working clockwise around:
1156 w/ can at 18 yds
1156 w/ can at 13 yds
JDLED w/ can at 23 yds
JDLED w/ can at 18 yds
The test vehicle....
JDLED w/ can at 13 yds
