Went to look up a manual today and found that they updated the Online Manuals site, which may break a bunch of links in posts on the site. Here is the look of the new online manuals page: Search for Equipment Publications - Technical Information Store (deere.com)
Main Search Page
2480610

Available manual types in next drop down.
2480611

Ordering capability online! This is new!

2480612

There is a preview of the manual available and it is a searchable PDF so should make finding things in the electronic copy much easier. Obviously JD is still charging a pretty penny for their manuals, but you can get one online and download and have it quickly!

Correction, the manuals are not searchable, only the Manual Title page seem searchable. However, I did download the 322 Owners Manual (never had one before, but I do have the TM) and it was at no cost.

Yes, looks like they went back and got most of the operator manuals for the older equipment on the new system at no cost. Still have to pay for the others but at least the OM's are available electronically now. Have to see if snowblowers and other items are all available too.

Frank, When you're in the parts catalog, select "Print Page", scan printed page, and save scan to pc...a pita, but you'll have the catalog in your pc. Bob

I just stumbled on this and found it very helpful. I found that the maintainence of my new x738 is nothing to be afraid of and I feel confident I can do it all. I was very pleased to find they changed the oil drain valve location and now it's just a lever easily reached. I did notive two things I want to ask about......They have no recommended 8yr breakin service oil change. According to the manual the first service is to be done at 50hrs? I'm gonna do it anyway because I'll sleep better but I wonder why it's not in there?

I also wasn't albe to get any manuls on my attachments 54in snowblower? I don't think I was navigating it wrong however, it is possible. I seem I could get every other language but English?

Thanks to the OP, it helped alot.

Dan, if you do the search like this snow removal (blowers) starts on page 3 and goes to page 4. The filters reduce the query by eliminating things that don't match so Publication Language is a nice filter!!!

Just follow the directions given at the beginning of this thread and you should be able to.

You can get it but it will not be free from Deere. Roger
All JD operators manuals are now free to download on the JD online publications site.
